Happy October - Wee competition for Stephen King fans

Happy 1st of October, we love the spooky month and got new Scream (the movie) themed slippers for the occassion, any excuse really lol. Even Luna is getting in amongst it, she suits the wee pumpkin.

So if you have been around here a while you know we LOVE Halloween, spooky and Master King is responsible for our love of both reading and horror. We love supporting small businesses where able so I often buy our bookmarks etc from there. I got this fabulous Stephen King bookmark and decided to get a second for giveaway.

I have my own version of this keyring on my Vegs bag, it has lasted ages considering how much travel/wear and tear so decided to get another one. Themed from The Shining, the hotel The Overlook.

It is two sided.

The keyring is plastic and the bookmark is material, both are as pictured.

Happy June beautiful people

Things have been a bit all over the place and I am a bit behind so trying to get back on it and we will start with our second June giveaway, our first can be accessed HERE. It is UK only, x1 ebook of "6 Ripley Aveue" by author Noelle Holten, UK only as it comes direct from Amazon and they don't allow you to gift outside your own country.

October comp is now live

Apologies first that our competition page is down, it is under review (apparently an issue marked spam? and under review but very little information, our page has been the same since we started and just update the comps every month). We have requested review multiple times and there is noone to contact directly so we just have to wait.

October giveaway is x1 horror themed bookmark, winner can choose x1 bookmark from those in the pictures. There are also two pins, one diamonte spider and one love heart with a cat on top, the winner can choose one of those too. Items are exactly as pictured and open worldwide. So above are the bookmarks, of all the ones in the picture they are mostly double sided. The dog one, one side says lives and the other is it passed, one side orange one blue. The Shining lady in the bath, one side she looks like she does when Jack first sees her then the real her, her chest is exposed so I have covered with my finger. The next are the brooches or pins, not sure what we call them nowaday lol.

This is the first, spider and I know not everyone likes spiders (I think it is so so cute) so the other option is a black cat on top of a heart.

The competition is open worldwide, I do try and do as many as possible but sometimes if it is ebook or Amazon V I just can't as Amazon sends directly so only allows your own country. When it is actual treebooks or things like this I send directly so can open it worldwide. Very aware everyone is feeling the pinch just now so November is in the process of being sorted and will be worldwide too. With bills rising things like books etc will be considered more luxury item and everyone should have the opportunity to read or have a wee something to look forward to. Wee additional giveaway

The brighter mornings are coming in, nice to see some daylight for a while before bed time but it is bright through the window early bells! I got one of these from the Vine and love it so much I bought another as a giveaway gift for the brighter mornings.

I don't normally like eyemasks, I find them uncomfortable or heavy. This is Mulberry silk, light and soft, really nice material.

It comes with earplugs too, bendy silicone style as shown.

They give a small piece of material to burn as a test for their type of material, never seen that before with any the others I have bought.

March competition is here

Happy March, hope things are good where you are and if not *hugs*.

February giveaway is now live

Sorry this has taken a bit longer to get up, it has just been blah. Things like this cheer us up, I know I always love a wee giveaway and Alex loves taking up parcels and a walk to the postie. Anyways, I think it was worth the wait.

So what is up for grabs? If you are a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas tada looky what we have. A costume jewellery US size 6 (I think that is a UK L) ring as pictured. I have took pictures of it from different angles too, feast your eyes.

It isn't all about them lol. We also have x1 patch, you can glue it onto your backback (I use fabric glue) or it can be added to a jacket or any other material. I think some folk sew them but I don't know how they are pretty tough material, I got fabric glue from Amazon and so far so good.

And we couldn't have something that isn't book related. X1 heart shaped leather style material page holder. This is the one up for grabs.

December Giveaway

Competition time YAAAAAAAAAY

I love December - I know it can be a hard time of the year for people for a multitude of reasons. It certainly reminds me of those I have lost and who loved this time of year. I embrace December, Christmas and a love of all things TACKY.

It looks like Christmas has vomitted in my house when I get started. I dress in Christmas clothes, I tacky up the house and we have always stuck to the 12 days before 12 days after for decorations up, I may change that this year.

Even Luna is getting a taste of Christmas dress, as allows. She will not tolerate hats or anything but she does seem fine with a bow (long as the bell is removed) and isn't she just a doll.

Anyway back to the competition, up for grabs is X1 gimble book accessory (as pictured) - they keep your book open - I use mine when eating but folk use them out and about. The winner can pick if they want the pink one or the blue one.

Wee love themed giveaway

As we know Valentine's day is coming so I figured I would do a wee love themed giveaway. Some folk find Valentine's hard or hate the commercialised overcharged crap. I happen to love Valentine's so why not and whether you love or hate it, who doesn't like a wee comp.

So just so we are clear, the easel ISN'T part of the giveaway, I just love the heart board so will be using it in many of my piccys :D - up for grabs, as pictured is:




A wee 3 set of facemasks, I picked up a set for me, used one today and it is the consistency of a peel mask but the one I used isn't a peel, smells nice though and my skin feels nice and soft. I am super sensitive too and *touch wood* no reaction or irritation.




X2 wee love heart shaped candles, X1 wee fake rose, X1 red silicone bookbandz which is a bookmark that goes around the actual book and if you stop reading mid paragraph you can position the wee hand to the line you last read. And a wee cat with a part hat on bookmark. I may add another wee extra into the package if I get the chance to get something else, maybe a wee chocolate something.



To get this to the winner before Valentines day I will only keep the competition open for a wee while, give me time in between shifts to get to the post office. If you are not UK based I don't mind opening it up to worldwide but it will NOT arrive before Valentines day so it is entirely up to you.
