February giveaway is now live

Happy February loves. I know not everyone bothers with Valentines but I think we can all agree we all like a wee comp. So what is up for grabs?

November's Competition is now live

Apologies it is a bit late, I have been a bit under the weather, then away to horrorcon and ended up floored with a bad chest/viral. Only starting to feel a bit more human and getting back to the real world tomorrow!

Vegas themed giveaway

As you guys know we recently went to Las Vegas, I love Las Vegas, think that was our 6th or 7th trip. I brought a few wee goodies back with me specifically for a wee giveaway.

Sorry it is a bit later guys but it is live now. When I was at the Edinburgh book festival I bought an extra paper to get the I Love Edinburgh totebag purely for the giveaway. September's competition is now open

Yaaaaay, six days late, that is not bad for me! I think it is worth the wait though guys.





So I love these book sleeves, zleeves, protectors. Seriously I have about ten now, I saw this one on special offer so I bought two, one for me one for you lucky ducks as a wee giveaway. They are so light that I am opening up the competition world wide. They are as pictured, fit just about any paperback and you maybe get a few sizes of hardbacks in it (not the largest though I think that may be a squish).

Stephen King themed giveaway

Happy June you beautiful people - sorry that is me just getting the June giveaway up however, I think you might agree that is is worth waiting for. I have also decided to make it International so sharing the joy worldwide!

May's Pre loved giveaway is now live

Sorry I am a wee bit late, if you are a regular visitor to the blog you know, sometimes, I can be the second week of the month before I get the giveaway up.


My review for this book will be going live soon, first time reading this author and this book is the first in the series, 4/5 for me and I will be reading the rest!

Aloha I am home

We went on holiday to Benidorm and the internet there wasn't great so I didn't take my laptop, hence the lack of updates and reviews on here. I did manage to read seven books though, one being over 600 pages and my workie had been on at me for ages to read, "The Given Day" by Dennis Lehane (author of Shutter Island). That book was rather brutal in some of its content, racism, and I think one that will stay with me. I hope to catch up on my reviews over the next few days however I have a mix of days and nightshifts at work and heading to Liverpool at the weekend for Horrorcon with a friend!



So, home from holiday and a fair bit of post. However I absolutely have to share my fav with you. I won a competition before I went away on author C L Taylors Facebook page. I won a pen and a usb stick, I absolutely love usb sticks and when I opened the parcel I thought oh, they have only sent me a pen.





However, the pen is actually a pen AND a usb stick, how awesome is that! If you are an uber geek and love gadgets like me then you will appreciate my delight. So I decided I would do a wee post to show the fabulous post, plus it has been a week since I shared any pictures of Princess so I figured you want one of her too. And I will do a wee giveaway too as it is nice to give something back don't you think?


I also got a fabulous signed bookmark.






I also got a wee postcard with the previous book covers, if you haven't read them and you like psychological thrillers you really need to check them out.
