March Giveaway is now live

Eeek who is excited?

Sorry it is a wee bit later, almost the first week of March gone already :O We have been away for a few nights, I was at Orenda books road show (blog post to follow) and celebrating my o/h birthday.

Anyway back to it, what is up for grabs? Well how does a crime fiction, signed hardback, limited edition (it has stunning purple sprayed page ridges) and was only released last month.....

The Sting by Kimberley Chambers, you lucky ducks! Look at those page ridges, I LOVE the colour purple and always had a thing for page ridges coloured.

You can read my review and the blurb for The Sting HERE, blurb is also there, this is one of my best reads this year, I would have read it in one sitting had I been able, 5/5!

You can enter by using Rafflecopter as usual, the more entries you complete the more times your name goes into the draw.

Hi you guys and finally I have February's giveaway ready, I have had this planned for ages. I knew it was going to be a romancey type giveaway and as author Tracey Sinclair sent me a signed copy of her book "The Bridesmaid Blues" I knew it was perfect for my giveaway.

As pictured: X1 preloved signed paperback of "The Bridesmaid Blues" by Tracey Sinclair", X1 bookmark, X1 chuppachup tealight candle and X1 marquise cut silver coloured ring, size L UK. I bought the ring specifically for the competition and think the book is a perfect wee match for it.

January giveaway is now live

HAPPY NEW YEAR YOU GUUUUUUUUUUUYS

A fresh year which means it is time to start my book jar challenge again, if you haven't seen or partook before basically I seen it on Instagram and this will be my third year doing it. From January 1st to December 31st, for every book I read I put £1 in the jar (you can change the amount to suit you) at the end of the year you have money you haven't counted in the budget so you can spoil yourself. My first pound of 2019 is in and I am looking through small businesses to support and buy stuff with the money from last year. I normally buy things either I wouldn't spend that amount on (one year a Harry Potter box £50, another year a charity book box from America £60 plus P&P) and or supporting small businesses. The first piccy has a candle, Book Blogging, this was part of an order supporting a small business - they have great candles, bookmarks and really worth checking out. Beauty and the beast, Harry Potter, Twilight and many more series worth checking and fab value, click HERE to check out Book Worm Candles they also ship INTERNATIONALLY woohoo.

So it is time for January's giveaway, a pre-loved SIGNED copy of Hush Hush by Mel Sherratt, my first book by this author (my review), first in a series and it only came out in 2018.

I am also including a wee metal bookmark I got with a Harry Potter set, it came with two so I am adding one into the giveaway. And a freaky wee pin of an eyeball as pictured. Miss paws is only modelling she is not part of the giveaway.

To be in with a chance of winning, as always, use the Rafflecopter below to enter. I will open this up worldwide, it is January and it is always nice to have a wee giveaway everyone can enter. The more entries you complete the more times your name goes into the draw, please only claim entries you complete all false claims are disqualified. Good luck, feel free to share the comp and here is to a happy new year and lots of awesome books.

Book Launch & Giveaway - The Exit by Helen Fitzgerald

Well this is a tad later than I had planned, the launch was on the 12th of February at Waterstones Argyll Street.

However, as often is the way, time slipped past and at least now I have had time to do my review and can launch this as the March competition. If you haven't heard Helen Fitzgerald speak or made it to one of her launches, your missing out guys. This was the second I have been to, she brought some of her family with her and her sister, whose name escapes me, made the beautiful bite sized cakes (I'm always about the food!). I am so so fussy but you couldn't say no as they are so good and it just adds a lovely personal touch.

Fitzgerald is hilarious, down to earth, mingles with us mere mortals :P and invited everyone out for a few drinks after the launch. Her family and husband are just such a nice crowd and on top of all that, she provided wine (both red and white), soft drinks and water which may not sound like a lot guys but I have been to a fair few book events and launches were you don't have water available to buy.

You can read my review here http://www.alwaysreading.net/2015/02/review-exit-by-helen-fitzgerald.html

It was a great night and yours truly got a brand new copy of this wee book and got it signed so now have one copy to give away. I have been keeping book giveaways to the UK, just because costs are going up and I am skint however I will open this one up to everyone. As per, fill in the rafflecopter at the bottom of this post, the more entries you fill in the more chances you have.
