So I have been saying for a wee bit we would get another giveaway up on our blog side page, click here and it is the pinned post. And yes my tables are beaten up and need touched up but they were my mums then my da's and being unblemished/marked would I think take away from their character. They are creaky and imperfect :D so they have character.

You know we do BDWBS (Blind Date with a Book) for workies? Folk are always asking after them so we have done a giveaway for one. Winner gets to pick 1 of the 2 listed. One is historical fiction and one is paranormal fiction. The winner picks ONE of the two available. Each BDWB has x1 book, x1 bookmark and some kind of sweetie. I know I know my wrapping on this one isn't the best but I do find it difficult wrapping the ones with Yankee Candle tealights in them.

January's competition - better late than never

I started to make candles as a hobby and decided I wanted to share a product I'm so proud of with other people. I decided for a strong bookish theme because it's how i spend most of my time! As someone who is completely allergic to colour I decided I wanted my candles to be explicit, funny and bookish but versatile enough to fit in any room with any decor and on any bookshelf and I felt that the simple design was something that wasn't available with bookish candles

November's Competition is now live

Apologies it is a bit late, I have been a bit under the weather, then away to horrorcon and ended up floored with a bad chest/viral. Only starting to feel a bit more human and getting back to the real world tomorrow!

So what is November's comp going to be? Well, we had so much feedback/chat with the Britney Spears book, that I have decided that that will be Novembers prize - please note the ring light IS NOT INCLUDED.

As pictured, x1 hardback of Britney's new book and you can't have a book without a bookmark so you have a choice of two, you can have either x1, leather style, love heart page corner. It is very pale pink, the piccy looks white(ish) but it is absolutely pale pink, as pictured.
