Follow Friday (possibly number 4)
To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host { Parajunkee.com } and any one else you want to follow on the list
2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers - http://startingthenextchapterbooks.blogspot.com/
3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
7. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
The question Q. Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?
I would take my kindle which would last a month, 8 of my fattest books which are myths and legends so lots of different stories which I would never remember all so that would keep me entertained and an Edgar Allan Poe short stories as it is taking an age to get through.
On a seperate note for FF anyone I follow (which is a lot) I make the effort to go back to as I dont see the point in following (or having lots of followers) who never go back it kind of defeats the point. If you comment I will always comment back and the same with following, have a great Friday whilst this one is working.
Review Beyong Exile (day by day Armageddon) by J L Bourne
This is the second book in the journey of a mans survival in a world over run by the dead. Again as with the first book we are reading his journal entries day by day and sometimes more than one entry per day.
It picks up where the first book has left off (with a small recap of the previous incase you hadn't read it). When you think most of the fast pace and excitement was covered in the first book you would be wrong, my heart has been thumping reading this one.
More nerve wracking situations as the survivors try to keep ahead of the dead, get supplies and maintain some(any) kind of normal existance. We are introduced to more characters and more depth of those we know and knew, and heart stopping action all in the name of survival.
I love this book and was not disappointed, sometimes with sequels it can drag or you are let down but this is definately not the case this time. I was hooked from book one and continue to be so, great paced and well written.
5/5 for me.

30 day book challenge - day 14
Day 14 - An author of a book you just don’t get. Hmm I can't think of any to be honest. Parts of the God delusion by Richard Dawkins yes but otherwise it was either love, hate or like.

30 day book challenge day 13
Day 13 - A book that disturbed you. And this one has to go to American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. I am by no means easily shocked and love horror films and novels but this one has some pretty gruesome stuff in it!
Have you read it? What did you think?

Review - The Thieves Of Heaven by Richard Doetsch
Meet Michael St. Pierre, a convicted thieve and now a reformed character. But what do you do when the life of the one you love is threatened and the only way you can pay for the medical treatment is to go back to a life you promised you never would.
Michael has no time for religion but loves his wife who never misses a Sunday at chapel and has religion in her heart. Events push Michael to confront his lack of faith and reassess everything he has thought true and face mans unholiest enemy!
I didn't know what to think when I started this to be honest. The first chapter grabs you with a breath taking daring rescue and then jumps to normal everyday events. However a few chapters in an everything becomes clear. It is a whorl wind story with romance, crime, murder and religion which the last I hadn't expected to be such a huge part in the book.
The fight between good and evil becomes a huge part of the book and whilst a lot of people hate reading about it and God and the Devil I think this is a great read and with so many turns and twists it definately kept it interesting.
4/5 for me.
